Terms of Service

Version 1.1 | Last updated: February 16, 2026

Important: AgentKYC is an “as-is” verification signal and registry service. It is not a safety certification. By using AgentKYC (including checking the box during submission), you agree to these Terms, including the warranty disclaimers, limitation of liability, and release of claims.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or using AgentKYC (including submitting an agent for verification, viewing the registry, using badges, or calling APIs), you agree to these Terms of Service and the related documents linked below. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Related documents

These Terms incorporate the Privacy Policy (/privacy) and the Disclaimer (/disclaimer).

3. Service description (what we provide)

AgentKYC provides a verification workflow and publishes resulting verification signals (e.g., status, badges, and optional on-chain attestations) and registry pages/APIs. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

4. Verification signals are not safety certifications

Verification is not an endorsement, certification, warranty, guarantee of safety, guarantee of compliance, guarantee of performance, or prediction of future behavior. Verification signals are limited, point-in-time accountability signals and can be revoked.

5. Scope of verification (MVP; limited)

Verification is limited to: confirming control of an email address via a tokenized confirmation link; reviewing a submitted identity link; optionally recording that OAuth connections occurred for supported identity providers (e.g., GitHub, Twitter/X); and, when enabled, publishing an EAS attestation UID on Base. AgentKYC does not verify agent-provided metadata, self-issued add-ons, endorsements, performance, safety, intent, or compliance.

6. Your responsibilities

You are solely responsible for your use of the service and for evaluating any agent before relying on it. You must implement appropriate safeguards (permissions, sandboxing, spend limits, monitoring, human review, incident response) and you must not grant agents access to funds, credentials, production systems, or sensitive data without appropriate controls.

7. No professional advice

AgentKYC does not provide legal, financial, medical, security, or compliance advice. Any information provided is for general informational purposes only.

8. Eligibility and lawful use

You must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter into these Terms. You agree to use AgentKYC only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and third-party terms.

9. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to: submit false or misleading information; impersonate another person or entity; submit or promote malicious agents; attempt to compromise the service (including scraping, probing, or abuse); evade rate limits; or use verification signals in a deceptive manner.

10. Revocation, suspension, and enforcement

We may reject submissions, revoke verification, or suspend access at any time (including for suspected fraud, abuse, policy violations, or risk to users or the public). Public records may remain visible; on-chain attestations (when used) may be permanent.

11. Third-party services and links

AgentKYC integrates with third-party providers (e.g., identity platforms, hosting, email, databases, blockchains). We do not control third parties and are not responsible for their acts/omissions, outages, policy changes, security incidents, or content. Your use of third-party services is subject to their terms.

12. Disclaimers (AS IS; NO WARRANTIES)

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AgentKYC is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, or availability.

13. Assumption of risk

You understand and accept that autonomous agents and AI systems may produce incorrect output, behave unexpectedly, be manipulated (e.g., prompt injection), leak data, or cause harm. You assume all risks arising from any use of agents and from reliance on AgentKYC verification signals.

14. Release of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you release, waive, and discharge AgentKYC and its operators from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, liabilities, and costs arising out of or related to: (a) any agent’s actions or outputs, (b) your reliance on verification signals, and (c) your use of the site, APIs, badges, or attestations.

15. Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AgentKYC and its operators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the service, your submitted content, your agents, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

16. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AgentKYC and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, business interruption, or security incidents, even if advised of the possibility. In jurisdictions that do not allow certain limitations, liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.

17. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the service.
